This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") outlines the acceptable use of BahMobily's services. By using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP. We may modify this policy at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting the modified policy on our website.
1. GENERAL CONDUCT
You agree to use BahMobily's services only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of our services. Prohibited behavior includes harassing or causing distress or inconvenience to any person, transmitting obscene or offensive content, or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue.
2. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
When using our services, you must not:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Use our services to send, upload, distribute, or disseminate content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable
- Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
- Forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers to disguise the origin of any content transmitted through our services
- Upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or contractual relationship
- Upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party
- Upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation
- Upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment
- Interfere with or disrupt our services or servers or networks connected to our services
- Collect or store personal data about other users without their express consent
3. NETWORK SECURITY
You must not violate or attempt to violate the security of our network. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Accessing data not intended for you or logging into a server or account that you are not authorized to access
- Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of a system or network or to breach security or authentication measures
- Attempting to interfere with service to any user, host, or network, including, without limitation, via means of submitting a virus to our services, overloading, "flooding," "spamming," "mailbombing," or "crashing"
- Forging any TCP/IP packet header or any part of the header information in any email or posting
4. VOICE AND SMS USAGE
Our voice and SMS services are provided for reasonable personal or business use. The following activities are prohibited:
- Using our services for telemarketing, call center operations, or auto-dialing
- Reselling voice minutes or SMS messages
- Engaging in SMS or voice broadcasting
- Using our services for any activity that adversely affects the ability of other people or systems to use our services
- Using our services in a manner that could result in excessive usage charges
5. DATA USAGE
Our data services are provided for reasonable personal or business use. The following activities are prohibited:
- Using our data services for continuous, unattended streaming, video surveillance, automated data feeds, or machine-to-machine connections unless specifically authorized by your service plan
- Using applications that maintain continuous active Internet connections when they could otherwise be closed or using applications that automatically consume unreasonable amounts of available network capacity
- Using our data services as a substitute for private line or dedicated data connections
- Using peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing services for uploading, downloading, or sharing copyrighted materials without permission of the copyright owner
- Operating servers, including but not limited to HTTP servers, FTP servers, mail servers, game servers, or any other device that provides server-like functionality from a mobile device, unless specifically authorized by your service plan
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
You must respect intellectual property rights. This includes not using our services to infringe on copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
7. SPAM AND BULK MESSAGING
You must not use our services to send unsolicited bulk messages (spam). This includes, but is not limited to:
- Sending unsolicited marketing messages or other commercial content
- Sending messages to recipients who have opted out of receiving messages from you
- Sending messages to non-specific addresses or to large numbers of recipients
- Sending bulk messages without maintaining records of recipient opt-ins
- Using distribution lists that include people who have not given specific permission to be included in such a process
8. MONITORING AND ENFORCEMENT
We reserve the right to monitor your use of our services to ensure compliance with this AUP. We may take any of the following actions in response to violations of this AUP:
- Issue warnings
- Suspend or terminate your access to our services
- Remove or block content
- Implement traffic management technology to reduce the impact of activities that violate this AUP
- Take legal action
- Cooperate with law enforcement in the investigation of suspected criminal violations
9. REPORTING VIOLATIONS
If you believe that someone has violated this AUP, please contact us at abuse@bahmobily.org. Please provide the following information:
- Your contact information
- The nature of the violation
- The date and time of the violation
- Evidence of the violation
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may revise this AUP from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on our website. By continuing to use our services after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised AUP.
